Don't miss also to visit the Neve Shalom Synagogue or the Ashkenaz Synagogue (according to availability). Explore Balat along the Golden Horn - the place that is considered to be the residential area of the Ottoman Jews where the unique “Star of David” can still be seen on some of the most notable buildings. Here is also the 600 year - old Ahrida Synagogue and the Jewish Hospital.

Keep on enjoying your Turkish Jews adventure by going to Zulfaris Jewish Museum of the Quincentennial Foundation, and the "Oldies House" at Haskoy. To make your experience complete, don't miss the Jewish Cemetery -the place where the martyrs of Neve Shalom were buried. In close location is Ortakoy - the place where the first Sephardic Jews arrived after being deported from Spain by the Spanish King because of their religion.
